How to see who owes you, and who you owe, in TailorSync
TailorSync's Finance page has two lists for this: To collect shows everything customers still owe the shop, and To pay shows what the shop owes its suppliers, each with the overdue part picked out. This episode reads both lists, chases an overdue invoice on WhatsApp and exports the lists for an accountant.
Watch on YouTubeWhat the video covers
- 1Who owes you. In Finance, click To collect. The top shows everything customers owe you, split into sales and orders, with the overdue part in red.
- 2Each customer. Below, each customer has a panel listing every invoice and order they still owe on, with the balance left on each.
- 3Chase an overdue invoice. A due date in red is overdue. Click the WhatsApp button on that line: the message has the invoice number, what is still due and a link to the invoice, and Open WhatsApp opens it ready to send.
- 4When they pay. The Receive payment button on the same line records it.
- 5Who you owe. Click To pay for the same list the other way round: what you owe your suppliers, and what is overdue. Each supplier's panel lists their unpaid purchase orders, and Make payment opens the order so you pay it there.
- 6For your accountant. Both lists download as a spreadsheet with Export CSV.

Before you start
Finance shows who owes the shop money, and who the shop owes. In this video you'll read both lists, chase an overdue invoice, and see what you owe each supplier.
Who owes you
Click To collect. At the top is everything customers owe you, split into sales and orders, with the overdue part in red. Below, each customer has a panel with every invoice and order they still owe on, and the balance left on each.
Chase an overdue invoice
A due date in red is overdue. To chase it, click the WhatsApp button on that line. The message has the invoice number, what's still due, and a link to the invoice. Open WhatsApp opens it in your WhatsApp, ready to send. Here, click Cancel. When they pay, the Receive payment button on the same line records it.
Who you owe
Click To pay. It's the same list the other way round: what you owe your suppliers, and what's overdue. Each supplier's panel lists their unpaid purchase orders. Make payment opens the order, so you pay it there. Both lists download as a spreadsheet with Export CSV, ready for your accountant. Next, your accounts at month-end, and matching them to the bank.
