Software that fits how abaya boutiques trade

Abaya shops run two businesses at once: a boutique selling ready-made pieces off the rail, and a workshop producing bespoke, made-to-order abayas with specific fabrics, hand-work and measurements. TailorSync brings both together, so a walk-in sale, a custom order with its deposit, the fabric it consumes and the VAT invoice all live in one place. Built for the UAE and GCC, it keeps your invoice numbering, tax and multi-branch reporting in order while you focus on fit and finish.

Everything your shop needs

Boutique retail POS

Sell ready-to-wear abayas and accessories fast with walk-in and account sales, plus cash-session control with open/close drawer reconciliation. Print thermal 80mm or A4/A5 receipts for every sale.

Made-to-order abaya tracking

Take custom and altered abaya orders with an advance up front, a delivery date and an assigned tailor. Track each piece through production statuses until collection, with the balance due always visible. Delivered and completed are separate statuses, so when a client brings back an abaya you handed over last month, you book an alteration on that same garment.

Fabric stock & barcode labels

Hold fabrics such as nada, crepe and chiffon alongside beads, stones and hand-work trims as their own SKUs with suppliers. Low-stock alerts warn you before a popular fabric runs out mid-season, and you can print barcode labels for stock and finished abayas, then scan them straight into a sale at the till with a USB scanner or the phone camera.

Abaya measurements & client profiles

Capture each client's abaya measurements once in a saved profile and reuse them on every future order. A returning customer is not measured again, and nobody copies figures across by hand.

FTA VAT invoices

Issue FTA-compliant tax invoices with sequential, gap-free numbering, tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive pricing, and separate retail and wholesale rates for boutique and bulk buyers.

Multi-branch boutiques

Run several abaya branches from one account with role-based access for owners, managers and staff, and optionally share stock or resources between locations. Compare branch sales and receivables from a single dashboard.

Made-to-measure from any design

Turn an abaya you already stock into a made-to-measure line. The customer picks the size, fabric and colour on a design from your rail, and those choices travel with the order to the workshop, so a shelf piece becomes a bespoke commission without re-keying it.

Share invoices on WhatsApp

Send a customer a WhatsApp link to their order and VAT invoice from your own number. They confirm their phone before the order opens, then track its status and download the invoice, so you keep clients updated without printing or emailing a file.

How it works

From first fitting to final invoice

01

Open the till and serve customers

Start a cash session, then ring up walk-in retail sales of stocked abayas or begin a new made-to-order piece, taking a deposit at the counter.

02

Capture the design and measurements

Record the client's abaya measurements, chosen fabric and any embellishment or hand-work details on the order so the tailor has everything needed.

03

Track production to delivery

Assign a tailor, move the order through production statuses towards its delivery date, and collect the remaining balance on collection.

04

Reconcile, invoice and review

Close and reconcile the drawer, issue an FTA VAT invoice, and review sales, receivables and stock across every branch from your dashboard.

Common questions

Can TailorSync handle both ready-to-wear abaya retail and custom made-to-order abayas?

Yes. The POS handles walk-in and account retail sales of stocked abayas and accessories, while the custom-order workflow tracks made-to-order and altered abayas with deposits, delivery dates and assigned tailors. Both run in the same system, so retail and bespoke sit on one set of books and one VAT invoice sequence.

How are deposits and outstanding balances handled on custom abaya orders?

You take an advance when the order is booked, record part payments while the piece is in production, and settle the balance when the abaya is collected. Each order shows the total, what has been paid and the balance still due, and outstanding amounts flow into your accounts-receivable and aging reports.

Can I track fabric and embellishment stock separately?

Yes. Fabrics such as nada, crepe and chiffon, plus beads, stones and hand-work trims, are held as individual SKUs with their own stock levels and suppliers. Low-stock alerts and purchase orders help you restock key fabrics before Eid and other peak periods. You can also give any item a barcode, print shelf or garment labels, and scan them at the counter so a stocked piece is quick to ring up.

Does it save client measurements for repeat abaya orders?

Every client has a CRM profile with saved measurement profiles that you capture once and reuse on any future order. Returning customers can order a new abaya without being re-measured, and their order history stays on file for reference.

Can a customer customise a ready-made abaya design?

Yes. Any abaya you stock can be sold as a made-to-measure line, where the customer chooses the size, fabric and colour on a design you already carry. Those choices are recorded on the order and carried to the workshop, so you turn a rail piece into a bespoke commission without setting it up from scratch.

Can I send an abaya customer their invoice on WhatsApp?

Yes. You can send a customer a WhatsApp link to their order and VAT invoice from your own WhatsApp number. The customer confirms their phone number before the order opens, then sees the status and downloads the invoice, which suits a boutique that keeps in touch with clients on WhatsApp rather than by email.

Is TailorSync VAT-compliant, and can I try it before paying?

Invoices are FTA-compliant tax invoices with sequential, gap-free numbering and support both tax-inclusive and tax-exclusive pricing in AED. You can start on a free 30-day trial and then choose a Starter, Expansion or Enterprise plan to suit the size of your boutique.
