How to open a second branch in TailorSync
To open a second shop in TailorSync, add it as a branch in Settings under Branches, with its emirate so your VAT return counts its sales there, and tick what it shares with your main location, such as stock and customers. This episode adds a branch in Sharjah, gives its manager access and switches between the branch on its own and the whole business.

- 1Add the branch. In Settings, open Branches and click Add Branch. Give it a name and the shop's phone number. How many branches you can add depends on your plan.
- 2Its emirate. Type the city and pick the emirate. Your VAT return counts this branch's sales there. Then choose its manager.
- 3Share stock and customers. Underneath, tick what it shares: it can use the stock items, services and customers from your main location. Then create the branch.
- 4Give staff access. On the Users page, open the person's menu and click Assign branch. Tick the branch, make it their primary branch and save.
- 5Switch locations. Pick the branch at the top of the screen. Inventory shows the stock it shares, ready to sell, Clients has the same customers, and the dashboard counts the branch on its own.
- 6The whole business. Switch back to All Locations to see everything together. To keep staff inside their own branches, turn that on under Staff controls.

Before you start
Opening a second shop? Add it as a branch, and it sells your stock and serves your customers from day one. Start in Settings, under Branches.
Add the branch
Click Add Branch. Give it a name, and the shop's phone number. Type the city and pick the emirate. Your VAT return counts this branch's sales there. Then choose its manager, Sara Khan.
Share stock and customers
Underneath, tick what it shares. It can use your stock items, services and customers from the main location. Then create the branch.
Give staff access
Now give Sara access. On the Users page, open her menu and click Assign branch. Tick Sharjah, make it her primary branch, and save.
Switch locations
Pick Sharjah at the top of the screen. Inventory shows the stock it shares, ready to sell, and Clients has the same customers. The dashboard counts the branch on its own. No sales yet, but its stock is already there.
See the whole business
Switch back to All Locations to see the whole business. To keep staff inside their own branches, turn that on under Staff controls. Next, decide who can do what.
