How to stay in control of your AI assistant
Once your assistant can make changes in your shop, you will want to see what it did and stop it when you need to. One switch stops every change while assistants can still look things up. Activity lists every change an assistant made and every refused try, and Disconnect cuts one off straight away. It works the same way in ChatGPT and Gemini.

- 1Stop changes for a while. In Settings, under AI connectors, turn off "Let AI assistants make changes". Nobody gets disconnected, and assistants can still look things up.
- 2TailorSync says no. Ask your assistant for a change, like adding a customer. Claude still asks you first. You allow it, and TailorSync refuses because changes are off for the shop. Claude tells you why, and where to switch changes back on.
- 3See what it did. Everything an assistant does is in Activity. Pick 7 days, choose AI assistants only, and search for "via Claude" to see just its changes. Each row shows whose login the assistant used, and a refused try shows with its reason. Click a row for the details, like the money involved.
- 4Fix a mistake. Fix it in TailorSync like any other change. Open the customer from the Activity row, edit the measurements and save. In the video, Rashid's sleeve goes to 24.5.
- 5What an assistant can never do. Cancel an order, give a refund, change a payment or delete a customer. Those stay in the app, with you.
- 6Cut an assistant off. Your connections, under AI connectors in Settings, lists every assistant you have connected, when it was last used and whether it can make changes. Each one works with the login of the person who connected it, so it can only do what their role allows. As the owner, you see the whole team's under Everyone in your shop. Click Disconnect and it stops working straight away. To disconnect every assistant at once, turn off "Let staff connect AI assistants".

Before you start
Your assistant can make changes in your shop now, so you will want to see what it did, and stop it when you need to. Here is how you do that. It works the same way in ChatGPT and Gemini.
Stop changes for a while
To stop every assistant from making changes, turn off Let AI assistants make changes. Nobody gets disconnected, and assistants can still look things up. Now ask Claude for a change, like adding a customer. Claude still asks you first. You allow it, and TailorSync says no, because changes are off for the shop. Claude tells you why, and where to switch it back on when you want changes again.
See what it did
Everything an assistant does is in Activity. Pick 7 days, scroll down to the log, and choose AI assistants only. That also lists every question your assistant asked, so search for via Claude to see just its changes. At the top is the change it just tried, refused, with the reason. Below it is everything from the last few episodes: Rashid and his measurements, his order, marking it ready, the reminder, and his payment. Each row shows whose login the assistant used, and that it came through Claude. Click one for the details, like the money involved.
Fix a mistake
If your assistant got something wrong, fix it in TailorSync like any other change. Open the customer from the row. Say Rashid's sleeve should be twenty-four and a half. Edit the measurements, change it, and save. Some things an assistant can never do: cancel an order, give a refund, change a payment, or delete a customer. Those stay in the app, with you.
Cut an assistant off
Back in Settings, under AI connectors, Your connections lists every assistant you've connected, when it was last used, and whether it can make changes. Each one works with the login of the person who connected it, so it can only do what their role allows. If someone's role can't take payments, their assistant can't either. As the owner, you see the whole team's under Everyone in your shop. To cut one off, click Disconnect. It stops working straight away, and you can connect it again later. To disconnect every assistant at once, turn off Let staff connect AI assistants at the top. That's how you stay in control of your assistant.
