How to run your tailoring orders from the Orders board in TailorSync
Every tailoring order in TailorSync lives on the Orders screen, from the day you take it to the day the customer collects it: you search it, filter it by stage or delivery date, move it along from its status pill and print its paperwork. This episode plans next week's work, moves an order into progress, sets each garment's stage, and prints the order form and a package label for a ready order.
Watch on YouTubeWhat the video covers
- 1The band at the top. It shows what customers still owe on orders, how many orders are overdue and how many are ready to go out.
- 2Find an order. Type a name, a phone number or an order number in the search box. The status chips filter by stage: Ready shows the orders waiting to be collected.
- 3Plan the week. Click All, open More filters and set the delivery dates. Sort by delivery date, oldest first, so the soonest is on top.
- 4Move it along. The status pill on each row is a dropdown. When the tailor starts, pick In progress, and it saves straight away.
- 5Each garment. The arrow on the row shows the order's garments. Set each one's stage as the work goes, and type where it is kept, like a rack number.
- 6Print for pickup. Open a ready order. Print Document gives the customer an order form with every measurement, the deposit and the balance, and the workshop copy leaves the prices off for the tailor.
- 7A label for the bag. Print Package Label makes a label with the customer's name, the order number as a barcode and the day it is due.

Before you start
Every tailoring order lives on the Orders screen, from the day you take it to the day the customer collects it. Here's how to run your week from it. The band at the top shows what customers still owe on orders, how many are overdue, and how many are ready to go out.
Find and filter orders
To find one, type a name, a phone number or an order number in the search box. The list narrows to the matches. The chips filter by stage. Ready shows the orders waiting to be collected.
Plan the week
To plan next week, click All, open More filters and set the delivery dates. Then sort by delivery date, oldest first, so the soonest is on top. One order is due next week, and it's still pending.
Move it along
The status pill on each row is a dropdown. The tailor has started, so pick In progress, and it saves straight away. The arrow shows the order's garments. Set each one's stage as the work goes, and type where it's kept, like a rack number.
Print for pickup
When an order is ready for pickup, clear the filters, click Ready, and open it. Print Document gives the customer an order form with every measurement, the deposit and the balance. The workshop copy leaves the prices off, for the tailor. Print Package Label makes a label for the bag: the customer's name, the order number as a barcode, and the day it's due. Next, stock that keeps itself right.
