How to take a tailoring order from the workshop to pickup in TailorSync

In TailorSync a tailoring order moves through statuses as the work happens, from Confirmed to In Progress, Trial, Ready and Delivered, and the counter takes the balance when the customer collects. This episode moves an order through the workshop, marks it ready and tells the customer on WhatsApp, collects the balance with change, hands over part of a second order, and sends a garment back for alteration.

What the video covers

  1. 1In the workshop. In Orders, click the order's status and choose In Progress when the tailor starts. Open the row to set each garment's own stage, like Stitching, and set the order to Trial for a fitting.
  2. 2Find the order at the counter. Open Quick Access, then Track Orders, and type the last digits of the customer's phone. Their orders show with what they still owe.
  3. 3Mark it ready and tell them. Open the order and click Mark ready. TailorSync offers to tell the customer on WhatsApp: click Write the message and it is ready, with their balance and a link to track the order. Click Open WhatsApp and send it.
  4. 4Collect and pay. When they come in, click Collect and deliver. Every garment is ticked and the balance is shown. Take the payment (for cash, the change is shown) and click Collect all and deliver. The order is Delivered, and the receipt shows what they paid and what they took home.
  5. 5Part of an order. If they take only some garments today, set the quantities in Collect and deliver. The payment changes to what those garments still owe, and the order shows how many have been collected.
  6. 6Back for alteration. If a garment comes back, open the order and click Back for alteration. Choose Alteration, say what to change and tick only that garment. The order goes to Alteration; mark it ready again when it is fixed.
