How to connect ChatGPT to your TailorSync shop
To connect ChatGPT to TailorSync, you add TailorSync in ChatGPT with the same connector address every shop uses, then sign in with your own TailorSync login and click Allow. AI connectors must already be on in Settings, as Episode 1 shows. Adding a custom connector depends on your ChatGPT plan.

- 1Before you start. The owner turns on AI connectors in TailorSync Settings and copies the connector address.
- 2Add TailorSync. In ChatGPT, open Plugins, click Add and choose Add custom MCP server. Name it TailorSync, paste the address and leave Authentication on OAuth. Tick I understand and want to continue and click Create as a plugin.
- 3Sign in. Click Connect TailorSync. ChatGPT sends you to TailorSync, where you sign in as usual and click Allow. Back in ChatGPT, TailorSync shows under Installed.
- 4Ask about your shop. In a new chat, type @, choose TailorSync and ask your question, for example who owes the shop money, or how much is in cash and in the bank.
- 5Stay in control. ChatGPT now shows in Your connections in TailorSync, and Disconnect cuts it off at any time.
