How to serve several customers at once at the TailorSync counter
When the counter is busy, TailorSync lets you park one customer's sale and serve the next: the parked customer waits as a chip in the top bar, and one tap brings their order back. This episode parks a customer who is trying a kandura on, serves a second customer, switches back, and hands a customer who is still waiting over to the next shift.
Watch on YouTubeWhat the video covers
- 1Park a customer. With their items in the cart, click Park. They wait as a chip in the top bar with their name and item count, and the till is clear for the next customer.
- 2Serve the next one. Ring up and charge the next customer as usual.
- 3Switch back. Tap the parked customer's chip and their order is right where you left it. Add anything else and charge as usual.
- 4Saved on the register. Parked customers are saved on the register, not in the browser, so they are still waiting after the page reloads.
- 5Hand over at shift change. When you click Close, the window lists the customers still waiting. Count the cash and type it in, tick Keep these customers for the next shift and click Close Session.
- 6The next shift. When the next cashier opens a shift on the same till, TailorSync says how many customers carried over, and their chips are waiting.
