How to add a customer and take their measurements in TailorSync
In TailorSync you add a customer once, by name and phone number, and keep their measurements on their profile, so every order after that reuses them. This episode adds a new kandura customer, shows how the phone number stops duplicate customers, records a Kandura measurement set with a custom cuff measurement and a note, and finds the customer again by phone.

- 1Open Clients. This is your customer book. Search by name or phone, and use the Retail and Wholesale filters to see one kind of customer.
- 2Add the customer. Click Add Client, keep Retail for a person, and type their full name and phone. The flag already shows your country, so type the local number. Email, address and tax details are optional; a TRN is only needed when a business customer wants it on their tax invoice.
- 3One number, one customer. If the number is already on file, TailorSync tells you whose it is when you click Create Client. Tap Use this client if it's them, or correct the number.
- 4Take measurements. Open the customer, go to Measurements and click Add Measurement. Name the set (for example
Kandura), then fill in chest, shoulder, sleeve length, neck and the full length, then waist and hip. The unit comes from your shop settings. - 5Add anything else you measure. Under Additional Measurements, add your own, like cuff, sleeve width or bottom width, and leave a note for the tailor.
- 6Save, and reuse it. The new set shows as Active: it is the one new orders use. Add another set for a different garment and the newest becomes active.
- 7Find the customer again. Type a few digits of their phone number in the search box. The local way works too, like
050 555 0142.
